Archbishop of York visits Brinnington!

John Sentamu, Archbishop of York, visited our Parish Centre to see at first hand the work we do in the community. He was very impressed and as a result is asking questions in the House of Lords about things which affect Urban Priority Areas, such as shorter life expectancy and poverty. Initiatives are already being put in place to try and counteract inequality and our work is being used as a model for other parishes.
